We see every day what makes Kingsbridge Community College so special — dedicated teachers, enriching opportunities, and a community that truly values learning. These strengths form the foundation that helps our young people thrive.
Through Friends of KCC, we aim to build on that foundation — to act as a catalyst that creates momentum and the right conditions for every student to succeed. By enhancing resources and expanding opportunities, we can help shape an even richer learning environment for all.
Through our fundraising efforts so far we have already enabled so much to happen, but we have bigger ambitions to support KCC:

Increase capacity to offer more activities, academic interventions and provision to help students succeed academically.

To aid extra-curricular activities to provide opportunities for students to explore their interests and skills found outside the classroom.

Update and provide new college facilities and equipment to ensure students have access to the best resources.

Make sure every student has equal access to opportunities, no matter their background.
How we use the funds we raise:
Money from our fundraising is designed to be flexible, responsive, and focused on impact, ensuring that funding goes directly towards enriching student experience. Funds raised are split into three funds.
BOOST FUND
College staff see first-hand what students need - and they’re full of ideas to make their experience even better. From new equipment and resources to clubs, trips, leadership and wellbeing initiatives, these ideas can transform learning and engagement. But too often, limited funding prevents these ideas moving forward.
That’s where our fund comes in - enabling staff to apply for funding to turn great ideas into real opportunities for students.
SPARK FUND
The Spark Fund goes into enabling a wider range of trips, clubs, and enriching experiences for our students, with no extra cost to families.
Our goal is simple: to ensure every student has equal access to opportunities that support personal growth, inspire curiosity, and broaden horizons.
CORE FUNDING
A small portion of the funds we raise goes to our core running costs (including marketing and fundraising) and developing programmes. All vital to ensure we can carry out our ambition.
